Biatain Alginate AG Dressing is highly absorbent for moderate to heavy exuding wounds. On contact with the wound, this dressing will convert to a soft, cohesive gel to form a barrier for infection control. Made from calcium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and an ionic silver complex. This product is indicated for partial to full thickness wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites, traumatic wounds, and second degree burns.
